   May race meeting 10th/11th -4

Closing date for the May race weekend is only 2 days away with an entry to date close to 200. Any compeitor wishing to practice only must contact the club for grid space availability. TKM classes are now more than one complete grid. heats will be run for the TKM classes on Saturday.Circuit one will be used over the entire weekend. Both practice and raceday start at 10am. There is no break for lunch on either day. Race format for all classes is 3 heats and a final with B finals for the TKM grids except Clubman TKM. Site opens at 9am on Friday 9th May. Tag Heuer transponders are available for hire at £10 for race day. also a reminder to fully charge the transponder before the race meeting.. read instructions for details.


   Help a competitor !

Please can you help a fellow competitor who has had his caravan and kart equipment including clothing on Monday 28th April stolen. As you can appreciate the father and cadet son are devistated. The caravan is a Bailey Bretagne make . The kart is a zip lightning - all stars sticker kit with R/K brake conversion and red pedals. In addtion the Helmet with a unique union jack style was also taken. If you have any information that HKRC can pass onto the family and police then please call the HKRC information line.

With less than a week away untill the closing date for the 5th round of the HKRC 2014 Club Championship hosting the first round of the TKM midlands challenge and 177 club series the online competitor list has now exceeded 170. Grids for TKM junior and senior have exceeded 34 . The 177 grid has very few spaces remaining , even the TKM Clubman class has reached nearly 20 compeitors- these classes will have heats on late Saturday afternoon to assist with a full race programme on Sunday. The max grids have reached around 50% of total grid size. Spaces are available for teh cadet and X30 classes. Any driver wishing to practiece only must check first for availability after closing date.Format for the weekend with include practice on circuit one only and for Sunday three heats and a final for each class. Phase two of the addtional parking space being generated by Willows will have been completed. The site opens at 9am on the 9th May
